In a historic milestone for Bihar’s education sector, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will personally hand over appointment letters to 1.4 lakh aspiring government teachers today, November 20. These teachers have successfully cleared the competency test, marking their official induction as government employees.

State Education Minister Sunil Kumar announced that this landmark event will also be replicated across district headquarters, ensuring all selected candidates receive their appointment letters on time. “The state government provided five opportunities for candidates to pass the competency test. Out of around 3.5 lakh aspirants, 1.4 lakh have successfully qualified and completed counselling,” the minister stated.

The Education Department has left no stone unturned in organizing this event, reflecting the government’s commitment to strengthening Bihar’s education system. With this recruitment drive, the state aims to address teacher shortages in schools and enhance the overall quality of education.

The minister also highlighted a new transfer policy that requires teachers to demonstrate dedication and honesty in their roles. This initiative is part of the government’s broader effort to ensure only qualified and competent educators shape the future of Bihar’s students.

This monumental recruitment is expected to bring a wave of positive change, empowering schools and improving learning outcomes across the state.
